Carando water heater equipment includes precision Combo Mill roll and weld fixtures, along with top and bottom inserters and welders.

          The industry standard welding format has been the Carando Combo Mill "submerged arc" tank welding system. However, as technology advances, focus is changing to the Carando Mid-Frequency Resistance "Tank Welding" systems.

          In 1988 Carando was requested to review three Combo Mill Complexes manufactured by Carando in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Although all three machines were still being used for the daily production of Water Heater Containers, they were not producing at their full potential.

          The equipment was inspected, a full research of our records conducted and were able to overhaul all three lines including updating the equipment to current standards.
